Vamonos
Situation: After successfully introducing one of its major restaurant chains (Señor Frog’s)
to the U.S. market in 2005, Grupo Anderson’s approached Quantified Marketing Group
with the task of creating a completely original, fast-casual concept to expand rapidly
throughout the United States.
Solution: Based on its knowledge of current restaurant trends and extensive industry
research, QMG created a concept in response to consumers’ needs for fast, convenient,
high-quality products.
Fast-casual concepts make up the fastest-growing segment in the restaurant industry. This
fact, combined with the growing popularity of restaurants serving bold and authentic flavors,
led to the development of Vamonos, an authentic Mexican taqueria.
In addition to concepting and designing the restaurant, QMG also developed a financial
model and franchise plan for the U.S. expansion of Vamonos, along with a full range of
marketing collaterals. From the initial concepting to menu development and design, as
well as the creation of uniforms and training programs, QMG was able to bring “a tour of
Mexico in 8 minutes” to the U.S.
Result: With these materials established, Vamonos is fully prepared to open its first location
and expand rapidly into the United States.
