Senor Frog's
Senor Frog's
When Hurricane Wilma hit Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula during the Fall of 2005, it destroyed most of Grupo Anderson’s restaurants in the area. Although this devastation was unfortunate and unexpected, the rebuilding process seemed like an opportune time for the re-branding of Señor Frog’s Cancun.
While maintaining the spontaneous and interactive atmosphere for which Señor Frog’s is famous (or perhaps, infamous), Quantified Marketing Group streamlined the design throughout the restaurant and bar for consistency. A tropical, beach-like décor was implemented to create a casual feel and to reflect the carefree attitude of the brand; to highlight Señor Frog’s sense of playfulness and unexpectedness, new menus were created with water inside, a miniature putt-putt game was installed with a $100 bar tab prize, table tops were made to feature “Señor Frog” buried in sand, inner tubes with rear ends hanging out were hung from the ceiling and a hot tub was put into the middle of the restaurant.
