Senor Frog's Retail
Challenge: In 2004 Señor Frog’s came to us to help them open their fi rst store in the US, in Myrtle Beach. This move coincided with a re-branding effort, including a new logo, new signage, a streamlined look and adding a beach atmosphere to the restaurant. The new restaurant also included a larger retail space than typical for Señor Frog’s. The retail space had to refl ect Señor Frog’s new brand and go with the restaurant.
Solution: Quantifi ed Marketing Group’s Concept Development team set to work
creating a beach theme for the 20’ x 50’ space that was consistent with the new
brand. We used tiling to create the look of water and sand on the fl oor and real wood
for a boardwalk. The space also included crate bin display tables, bamboo ceilings,
coconut lights, giant beer cans and lily pads. Wood shutters, angled display walls and
a circle pattern were incorporated into the overall design. A new color palate was
established to make the space fun, festive and bright.
Result: The Myrtle Beach retail space was able to refl ect the new Señor Frog’s
brand by incorporating a beach theme, and it set the mold for all US Señor Frog’s
locations to come.
