With clients across the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean, Orlando’s Quantified Marketing Group has crafted a niche as the nation’s largest full-service strategic restaurant marketing and public relations firm.

Orlando, FL – In Central Florida alone, there are dozens of advertising agencies and public relations firms. One company has differentiated itself by crafting a niche that has helped its client base and revenues increase by 100 percent in the last year. Based in Heathrow, Quantified Marketing Group is the nation’s largest full-service strategic marketing and public relations firm exclusively focused on the restaurant industry.

Established by Aaron Allen in 2001, QMG works with high-volume independent restaurants, chain restaurants and leading supplier companies in the development and execution of marketing and public relations strategies. The company has evolved from a small organization that offered strategic marketing services to a full-service firm that manages complete outsourced marketing, public relations and strategic brand management responsibilities from conceptualization to executioin.

Public relations represents the fastest growing of QMG’s five divisions – which also include marketing strategy, training, research and design. In July 2004, the company had one public relations staff member and five accounts. Now, the public relations division has 21 clients, five full-time team members and three freelance writers. Overall, QMG has grown from five employees last summer to a full-time staff of 20.

Taking a non-traditional approach, QMG does not advocate traditional advertising, instead focusing efforts on local store marketing and public relations. This philosophy, and the specialization in the restaurant industry, has resulted in QMG's rapid growth, according to the firm's founder and CEO Aaron Allen.

"Clients are telling us that they are hiring us because our expertise is in the restaurant industry, and because of our creative approach that does not necessitate mass media advertising. This gives us an edge over other marketing and public relations firms,” said Allen, a former marketing executive with The Breakers in Palm Beach and the Florida Restaurant Association. “We're not big by Madison Avenue standards, but we're the only one who does what we do, and I’m a firm believer that specialization is more attractive to clients than sheer size.”

Because of its focus on the restaurant industry, and its elevated presence on Internet search engines, QMG has substantially built its client base through online inquiries and word of mouth. The firm’s largest client, Cancun-based Grupo Anderson’s – which is Mexico’s largest restaurant company – contacted Allen via the Internet and chose Quantified Marketing Group as the complete outsourced marketing and public relations department. With restaurants across Mexico and the Caribbean - and known worldwide for its flagship brand, Senor Frog's - Grupo Anderson’s expanded into the United States this year with a Senor Frog’s location in Myrtle Beach. QMG launched that grand opening and is coordinating Grupo Anderson’s expansion of Senor Frog’s locations in Honolulu and Las Vegas as well.

Miami’s Karu&Y, which at more than $10 million represents the most significant restaurant investment in Florida’s history, selected QMG as its strategic marketing firm. Allen’s company is also the agency of record for Miami Beach’s Tantra Restaurant and Lounge, which pioneered aphrodisiac cuisine. Tim Hogle, who founded Tantra, selected QMG to spearhead public relations and marketing for his newest concept called afterglo, which will introduce beauty cuisine when it opens in Miami Beach in August.

Doc’s Restaurant, led by former Kennedy family chef Neil Connolly; RJ Gators; Lea & Perrins, makers of Worcestershire Sauce and National Restaurant Designers are among the firm’s clients. So is Heathrow-based Ultimate Franchise Systems Inc., which operates more than 600 units of 13 brands, such as Sobik’s Subs and Flamer’s Burgers.
