Southwest Florida’s Kitchen” gives guests a chance to win a Hummer H3 this summer. Bonita Springs, Fla. –Mel’s Diner is giving customers a new reason to
enjoy the summertime – and its made-from-scratch comfort foods – with a
“Hummer of a Summer” chance drawing benefiting Kids with Cancer.
All proceeds from Mel’s Diner’s donated Hummer H3 will benefit The
Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida through Barbara’s Friends, The
Children’s Hospital Cancer Fund.
Mel’s recently purchased and donated the SUV to the organization, which
is now giving Mel’s customers a chance to “win a key to the H3."
Each Mel’s location, as well as the Big Al’s Sports Grill in Bonita
Springs, will have chance tickets for their guests. The event, which
will run for 12 weeks, will officially kick off on Aug. 1st and will
run thru Oct. 27th.
“Our children are our legacy,” said Chris Karakosta, CEO for Creative
Restaurant Management, the parent company for Mel’s Diner and Big Al’s
Sports Grill. “Every parent wants their child to grow up happy and
healthy, and we are excited to support such a worthwhile cause.”
No purchase is required to receive a chance to win, but if guests
choose to make a donation to the organization, checks can be made
payable to Lee Memorial Health System Foundation.
The winner will be selected on Oct. 27, 2006 at the Miramar Outlets in
Estero, FL. during the 5th Annual 95.3 OLZ Helping Kids with Cancer
Radiothon. The raffle winner need not be present to win, but
everyone is invited to attend.
