Featuring a restaurant where sophisticated Asian
cuisine is served and a lounge with three microenvironments enlivens
the senses, Grupo Anderson’s newest destination is a favorite of guests
with palates that prefer bold flavors and a relaxed, upscale
atmosphere.
Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico -
It’s a warm weekend night in Cancun, and Glazz is stirring with
activity. Guests drinking martinis and wine are relaxing in the Earth,
Fire and Ice-themed lounges, and the spacious dining area is bustling
with patrons savoring the restaurant’s renowned sushi and Asian
delicacies.
Defined by casual elegance in a chic atmosphere, Glazz has
brought sophistication and style to Cancun’s culinary and nightlife
scenes.
Owned by Grupo Anderson’s – which also operates highly visible
restaurants like Señor Frog’s and Carlos’n Charlie’s – Glazz has carved
a niche among Cancun’s dining options by providing visitors with a
destination where they can experience superb Asian cuisine and spirits
in a restaurant and ultralounge concept.
Glazz’s menu has Chinese, Thai and Japanese items along with
varieties of sushi. Crab wontons, Thai lettuce wraps, Mongolian beef,
crispy honey shrimp and banana spring rolls are among the signature
items prepared by executive chef Eduardo Ruiz. Drinks include
specialty martinis, premium sakes, and a line of flavored vodkas.
“Cancun draws visitors from around the world, and their palates
prefer bold flavors of ethnic cuisine,” said Eduardo Beaven, general
manager of Glazz. “We are a place where you can enjoy Asian cuisine and
spirits and then relax in one of our lounge areas – all under one roof.”
Situated in Cancun’s hotel and resort zone amid the upscale La
Isla Shopping Village, Glazz’s stunning interior décor is enlivened
through the use of white and bold colors and exquisite
furnishings. The Earth, Fire and Ice lounge areas on the lower
level are dynamic microenvironments where images, textures and smells
produce a treat for the senses. The dining room – where the
restaurant’s sushi, seafood, steaks and Asian cuisine are served – is
located on the upper level.
Founded by Carlos Anderson more than 40 years ago, Grupo
Anderson’s is the largest restaurant company in Mexico. Based in
Cancun, the company’s other concepts include Señor Frog´s, Carlos'n
Charlie´s, El Tumbaburro, El Shrimp Bucket, Mama Roma and Come n’ Eat.
