South beach chefs Sandee Birdsong and Alejandro Briceno recently seduced the set of The Daily Buzz with an array of chocolate desserts served exclusively at Tantra Restaurant and Lounge.

Their Oct. 14 appearance on the national morning program, that airs in 140 television markets throughout the country, managed to boost the libidos of hosts Andrea Jackson and Clayton Morris and business for the acclaimed South Beach aphrodisiac restaurant that opened in 1997.

It's just the type of media coverage clients like Tantra have come to expect from Quantified Marketing Group, the nation's largest full service strategic marketing and public relations restaurant firm.   A thriving restaurant group with a roster of high-end brands such as Timpano Italian Chophouse and Samba Room, E-Brands Restaurants is a multi-concept restaurant group with 13 restaurants in nine cities.

  Although we've been working with parent company, Grupo Anderson's, for close to a year, we've recently been selected to create Señor Frog's store and product design.

  With eight locations throughout the United States, Texas de Brazil is an upscale chain that delivers an authentic South American churrascaria dining experience with a feast of meats, wines and gourmet salad bar items.

  Made-from-scratch comfort foods and family-friendly service have been the driving success behind Mel's Diner, a southwest Florida chain with 10 locations. Quantified Marketing Group was recently hired to serve as the complete outsourced marketing department spearheading all corporate and local level marketing and public relations efforts.

  Buffalo fever hits South Beach next month with the opening of Fratelli la Bufala (FLB), an upscale Neopolitan chain that serves pizza and buffalo meats and cheeses.

  Although we've represented R.J. Gator's on the corporate level for some time, we recently began working on a separate retainer with the Miami-area franchisees, who plan to open between 8 and 10 locations in the next 6 years.

  Named for an Amazonian medicinal plant that symbolizes prosperity and energy, Miami's Yage Bay Club is a sensual dining and dancing destination overlooking Key Biscayne.

  At South Beach's Escopazzo, the sophisticated menu reflects traditional and contemporary culinary styles from every region of Italy. Quantified Marketing Group will be providing public relations services for the restaurant and chef de cuisine, Giancarla Bodini, who has received national acclaim.

  Quantified Marketing Group is collaborating with Mark Weider from Weider Nutritionals and the recently divested Weider Publications, which included Shape, Muscle & Fitness and Men's Fitness, to develop a new smoothie concept that hinges on organic ingredients.

 



Orlando, Fla. - Maneuvering through the narrow, bumpy roads of Monterrey, Mexico, Aaron Allen's taxi pulls up to one of the largest breweries in the world. Inside the building, Allen navigates his way past the guarded gates and bubbling tanks of beer and arrives at a contemporary conference room. Soon the six top executives of FEMSA, the second largest company in Mexico (owning Dos Equis, XX, Sol, Tecate and more), file into the conference room. With the beats of remastered Mayan music vibrating from the speakers and images of Mayan temples flashing from the projector, Allen begins his presentation on how his Orlando, Florida-based marketing and public relations firm can assist the Mexican company strengthen its presence in the States with the vision of an authentic Mayan restaurant.

At the conclusion of the presentation, Allen hops aboard a plane headed to Mexico City, his third flight of the day. Upon arrival, he feasts on delicacies such as brain quesadillas as he helps one of his clients develop the next culinary phenomenon headed for the United States. This is just an example of a typical day for Allen, a marketing executive whose life is anything but typical.
